How can I stay fit without going to a gym
2022-07-19
Staying fit has nothing to do with the gym.
Most people join the gym because they want to gain muscle size or lose body fat.
From what I've gathered and learned, here are a few things you can do to stay healthy without going to the gym:
Diet. You really should check the food you eat.
1. Eat as many vegetables and homemade foods as possible. Needless to say, avoid junk food. In fact, think of them as position. They just fill your stomach without giving you proper nutrition.
2. Drink plenty of water and citrus beverages.
Drinking lots of water can increase your metabolism. Drink water regularly to maintain a healthy water level. If possible, try to find a tea you like and incorporate it into your diet. I personally always have a cup of tea around 3 pm.
3. Make sure your drink does not contain:
a) Preservatives b) Sugar c) Caffeine d) Alcohol
It's not just about reducing your calorie intake! Know the difference between eating well and eating less! Reduce the fat and carbohydrate content of food and increase protein and fiber.
4. Divide the meal. Eat 5-6 meals a day. Eat most foods for breakfast, a little less for lunch, and the least for dinner. In between, to keep your metabolism up, eat healthy salads, sprouts, or fruit.
5. Reduce the ghee and butter and replace them with olive oil if possible.
6. Eat meals at set times.
Exercise. There are many exercises you can do at home.
1. Start your day with a morning run or jog. Don't choose jogging. Our bodies are used to running, and it gives you an adrenaline pump when you run, which is very beneficial. Jogging is like a forced exercise, and running comes naturally to us.
2. Simple things like taking the stairs, walking, or biking instead of driving help you a lot. Keep this in mind as much as possible.
3. Set aside 1 hour each day for some high-intensity aerobic exercise. You can watch videos from Simple and try out different workouts like cardio, power yoga, zumba.
4. Don't be too hard on yourself. Losing weight takes time. This time is different for everyone. But to get results, you really need to stay motivated and focused on continuing the journey. Don't be too easy on yourself. Push yourself to the limit.
5. Take a brisk walk for 30-45 minutes after dinner.
6. Sleep, sleep, sleep. This is very important, getting enough sleep can double the effect of your workout. Go to bed early and get up early!
7. Wear what you want to look good on. Simple. This is both motivating and confidence-building.
8. Have a hobby. Make your life more positive.
